Offered is an original German Heer type 3 Paratrooper badge.  It is the bearded eagle variant.  Badge is two piece construction with the eagle held in place by two rivets.  Grey metal retains about 70% of the gilded finish.  Metal has toned to an attractive patina.  It is not maker marked.  Pin is intact.  It is slightly bent.  Catch is intact.  Reverse has some bubbling to the metal as would be expected.  Very nice badge.   Guaranteed to be 100% original.
